Summary: The Prince went out of their way to make our stay absolutely perfect. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with everything. Our BBQ dinner (which you need reservations for) was our highlight for sure. We had the whole place to ourselves. Great food, incredible service and an incredible view. Again, we loved everything.

Summary: We stayed for one night in this hotel. Overall we had a great stay. The hotel is located in a very beautiful remote spot, just by the lake. We had a family room with lake view. The room was very spacious and spotless clean, however the furniture and decor were slightly outdated. We enjoyed the hotel amenities especially its beautiful onsen. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that everything was closed at 18:30 when we arrived, so we had to have dinner at the hotel, and had to finish within half an hour the extremely overpriced buffet dinner as they closed at 19:00.

Summary: Really large rooms and beautiful view of the lake. One of my favorite hotels. The free shuttle bus from the train station helps a lot.

Summary: The hotel is beautiful, so welcoming and with a calm ambience. The staff are exemplary, doing all they can to make your stay perfect. We ate at the Grill buffet bar and all food was well displayed and delicious.

Summary: Wonderful stay. Fine dining on the property was superb. Staff was friendly and property beautiful location. Onsen has a lot of traditional rules and restrictions, but we were able to enjoy a few times.

Summary: The staff were all excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The views and scenery around the hotel are also stunning however the hotel itself is quite dated and while the food was really good, it was the most expensive we had in Japan.
